Projects

Leave No Trace

The Leave No Trace initiative is about respecting and preserving the places we train. It isn't an event that takes place once a year. We have to incorporate it into every training session, whether as instructors/students in a Parkour class, as part of a group jam, or alone. Respect for the places you practice means taking steps to show gratitude and care for them.

Leave No Trace is focused on personal responsibility and awareness of your surroundings. We stress knowing your equipment and your environment, and leaving your training ground as good as, or better than, you found it.

Parks & Rec Outreach

Working with the parks systems in the Pacific Northwest is one of our top priorities. Parkour Visions is seeking guidance from parks officials on how to ensure that Parkour training in state, regional, and city parks is done safety and with the utmost respect for the natural and man-made structures in the parks.

ParkOurPark

The ParkOurPark project is a potential collaboration with the Seattle Design Commission to set up Washington's first parkour park temporarily in one of the many stalled development sites across the city. The proposal is part of SDC's Holding Pattern Initiative where 83 creative projects were solicited from the community to re-activate so many of the unused or abandoned lots that are growing in number across the city.
